LIMO 101

▪ Always make sure the company you choose is in good standing with the Public Utilities Commission (PUC), and that they hold the proper insurance.

▪ Be aware of any policies involving potential extra fees, such as cancellations or high gas fees, before signing.

▪ Typically you do have to pay for the entire time the limousine will be at your disposition. For example, say you would like to go to a Rockies game at Coors Field. You need to be picked up at home at 12 p.m., but then you don’t need the car again until the game is over. You will have to pay for the time that the car is waiting for you outside Coors Field. ▪ Customary payment for your chauffeur would be 20% of the total price of your service. Be sure that you know whether or not this is included in the rate you are quoted, because it will be included in the final charges.

▪ Limousines charge an hourly rate so that there are no mileage restrictions. As long as you are willing to pay the agreed-upon rate per hour, you should be able to go wherever you wish.

▪ For safety reasons, always allow the driver to open and close your doors. Take your time getting in and out. Many stretch limos have a raised part of the floor that allows for the drive shaft and can trip people up, especially when there's dark carpet. Relax and let your chauffeur take good care of you.
